Longest Night Service, Sat. Dec. 21, 7:00pm at Muhlenberg

Join us on Saturday, December 21 at 7:00pm at Muhlenberg Lutheran Church (or streaming online to Facebook and YouTube) for the Harrisonburg Community Longest Night service. This service of Word, song, prayer, and Holy Communion brings together eight congregations (Presbyterian, Mennonite, Methodist, UCC, and Lutheran) on the longest night of the year -  which has become a meaningful time to recognize the darkness of grief and loss in our lives that long for the light of Christ. The service provides an opportunity to be honest about our pain and be reminded of Christ’s light that shines into dark places.
