Where did you grow up, and what brought you to Harrisonburg?

I grew up in Richmond VA and Gloucester VA. I came to Harrisonburg to attend JMU in 1989 …and never left!

How does your faith happen in your daily life?

The love of my family reminds me daily of how fortunate and blessed I am, and now my workplace is a community that nurtures my faith on a weekly basis.

What is a fun fact about you that may surprise people?

I’ve played music in local bands for over 35 years.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?

The feedback I hear from our senior members is truly touching and makes me feel like I’m making a little bit of a difference in their lives and the lives of others.
