Mosaic Handbell Ensemble Concert
Saturday, November 22, 4:00 pm
Mosaic celebrates their 15th season with a concert here at Muhlenberg. It will be full of pieces of encouragement to keep “Looking Up!” Thoughtful pieces like “Elegy,” hopeful pieces like “Precious Child,” and totally happy pieces like “Here Comes the Sun.” Three members of Gloria Dei Ringers play with Mosaic: Sandy Biller, Darcie Roberge, and Artistic Director of Mosaic Kath Wissinger. We play more bells with fewer-than-the-usual-number of ringers, making it as much fun to watch as we are to listen to!! See our website (www.mosaicbells.org) or Facebook page for updates and announcements. Your freewill offering is gladly accepted.

Hybrid Annual Meeting of the Congregation
For full details and links, please visit our Congregational Meeting webpage: muhlenberglutheran.org/congregationalmeeting
To join via Zoom, please use the “Sunday Mornings at Muhlenberg” Zoom link: CLICK HERE
Our Annual Congregational Meeting will be Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 12:15 pm in the MAC. We’ll share a potluck meal, fellowship, and church business together. I hope all voting members will make every effort to attend in person or by Zoom (non-members are very welcome to attend, but are unable to vote).
At this meeting we will review and approve the 2026 Ministry Spending Plan and elect new council members and a trustee. Materials can be found on our webpage (link above) or you can pick up a hard copy at church.
A quorum of at least 10% of voting members is required for a congregational vote to occur. But we hope everyone will plan to attend this gathering to participate in the life of our community here at Muhlenberg!
The Annual Meeting will include a potluck meal. To ensure we have a variety of food, we recommend those whose last name starts with…
A-K: bring side dish
L-O: bring casserole, chili, soup, or meat
P-Z: bring dessert
If you have a signature dish you prefer to share, please feel to bring it instead. Drinks will be provided. You do not need to bring a dish to attend.
Anyone willing to help with setup, serving, or clean up, please contact Emily Carneal (emily.wicht@gmail.com or 540-421-1994).

Foster Love Ministries
Foster Love Ministries is excited to share about their mission to support at-risk and foster-placed youth in our community, and how Muhlenberg can be part of this powerful work through CarePortal. CarePortal is a technology platform that connects local Department of Social Services caseworkers to churches, allowing them to respond to real-time needs of children and families in our community. Since launching in Harrisonburg–Rockingham County this past June, churches have already served over 55 children, meeting urgent needs like beds, car seats, clothing, and relational support. This is an incredible opportunity to tangibly love our neighbor with the mission field quite literally right outside our church doors. Please join the Faith Formation classes in the Nielsen Room for a presentation by Jennifer-Rose Eccles, the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Foster Love Ministries. *Zoom access is also provided - please click HERE on Sunday, Oct. 5 at 9:45am to join!
