Where did you grow up, and what brought you to Harrisonburg?

I grew up mostly in Pittsburgh, but moved around several times during my adult life. We moved to Harrisonburg in 2011 when my husband's publishing agency merged with a local Harrisonburg publishing company.

How does your faith happen in your daily life? 

I have been an active member at Park View Mennonite Church since we moved to this area. Being part of a faith community has been a vital part of my spiritual growth and wellbeing, since we learn together, pray together, support each other, and also work to contribute to the wider community.

What is a fun fact about you that may surprise people?

I was born into a large Irish Catholic family (on Friday the 13th!), with 15 aunts & uncles and 31 first cousins.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?

That's easy! - working alongside the other great Muhlenberg staff members and many wonderful church volunteers. Also, in kind of a nerdy way, I find it rewarding when all the numbers add up and balance!
