Where did you grow up, and what brought you to Harrisonburg?

Hometown: Kettering Ohio (named for Charles Kettering, inventor of the car self-starter). I was a Park Ranger in Shenandoah National Park, just east of H'bg.

How does your faith happen in your daily life?

I can face each day with a positive attitude because I know God is in control.

What is a fun fact about you that may surprise people?

I love word games such as Bananagrams, Wordle, Connections, Letter Boxed.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?

The dedication of my ringers, who will try anything I ask of them, show up every week, take bells home to practice with and generally make it a joy for me to prepare our worship music together.
